Frontiers are real or imaginary lines: border zones, and areas where human civilization meets the rich mysteries of the wilderness, nature and isolation. These are the places to which an explorer must travel to seek the unknown. In these borderlands, such as the Hunza Valley, the world's most remote communities are found, their people living in some of the most inhospitable environments on Earth but there is often a remarkable symbiosis between these people and the nature around them.
