The artistry of skiing comes from an acquired relationship with the mountains and none better than the skills of Australia’s legendary Steven Lee. A World Cup Super G race winner in Japan, he has spent his Australian summers living in Hakuba and knows the whole region intimately.

After a hike up above Happo One, Steve is heading off down towards the Southern couloirs, a joyous roller-coaster ride of steep, soft and especially deep. The day continued, as the master had set the tone, with a rhythmical orchestra of exceptional splendor.
