Home to the Sámi People, indigenous to this landscape – the nomadic reindeer herders migrate across the frozen tundra. The Sámi have an ability to listen to the voice of nature, their culture has been shaped by a landscape of the Arctic Ocean, the fjords and the tundra.
Home is a lávvu - inside lined with reindeer skins and a fire - essential to survive the forty below temperatures that frequent the months of winter across the Arctic landscape.
A reminder of the strength of our human spirit and in our connection to the natural world.
