Namibia, Namib Naukluft: A UNESCO World Heritage Site
In the sand dune series from Namib Naukluft the abstract compositions of the shifting sands were primarily photographed at 2000ft from a small light aircraft with the door removed.
Large areas of the desert are completely inaccessible where some of the dunes reach 300m in height.
The stunning topography confuses scale. With a lack of context the only sense of scale comes from animal tracks in the sand.
